Inspiration: Sofia Coppola

I adore Sofia Coppola.

I love how the film has a beautiful softness about it, the colours and camera angles and the way so much is expressed with very little dialogue.

So here is a visual diary of things I have been immersing myself in lately.

I have a soft spot for all these films.

But even the stills are beautiful to look at, Sofia explained in an interview how she likes to make film from photographs. And it shows.

Mic: If you google Michaela Morgan you’ll find she’s an established children’s author and poet with over 120 published titles. This may or may not be the same Michaela who contributes to this website. Mainly not. She is however a local disc jockey at FBi Radio & sausage sizzle enthusiast.

Mac: If you google Macarena Miranda you get a whole lot of information about a tennis player or steps to a 90s dance sensation. And yes I do know the dance. But mainly I work for online media and adore a good pampering and cheap cheeseburgers.
